Didn’t think it would work as good as battery that came with camera, but it actually works better..and holds a charge LONGER than battery that came with the camera…I’ll probably end up buying another one and just tossing the original battery that came with the camera-cause it’s pretty much useless! (This battery especially came in handy on our recent vacation held a charge for a full day and full night!)

I bought this battery after purchasing a used Olympus Stylus 790SW camera that arrived without a battery. This battery fit the camera well and held a charge well. I would recommend it to others needing a battery for this type of camera.

This battery lasts longer than the one that came with the camera; watch out because some of the second source batteries have less capactity than the original. This has 1100mAh vs 740mAh for the original and 600mAh for some others.

I bought this battery because my original one wasn’t lasting very long, and it is supposed to have 1100 mAh, compared to the original’s 700 mAh. While it definitely lasted longer than the original did when it was new for the first couple of months, it degraded much more quickly than the original. My original battery lasted for around 200 shots for the first 2 years or so, but this one gave me maybe 220 shots for a few months, then quickly dropped off to less than 50 shots.

good performing battery, long lasting, need to watch out for outer cover as it is a bit thin
