I purchased the 16 pack of the Duracell rechargable batteries, mainly to be used in a trail camera that uses 8 batteries. So far the batteries have preformed well. I have recharged them a half dozen times with no problems.

The picture shows 2650 mAh batteries and the description is vague enough with “2650mAh / 2450 mAh Ideal capacity; ideally suited for powering digital cameras” to actually expect at least one of the two packs to be 2650 mAh. Nevertheless I received 16 batteries with the 2450 mAh capacity. There is no mention of rapid charge compatibility, and it lists 250 mA as the charge current (opposed to up to 1000 mA for rapid charge).

Of course they discharge when stored, and more quickly so than standard alkaline batteries. For our baby toys that’s of no consequence as they need fresh batteries all the time.

In the end it wasn’t as great of a deal as expected (2650 mAh), but still almost the same price as one pack of 8 in the local store.

I bought these batteries because of the amazing deal on them, rechargeables are hard to find for a good price but in these case, I got twice as many for my money!

i should have read more reviews before i purchase this item.

i bought these for Canon External Flash[580exii to be exact]. i go through batteries very fast. i used to have Duracell Rechargeable 2650(green and black) for my flash. and only having 2 sets (4 each) was able to last one night of photoshoot. but sadly ive been using those batteries for 2 + years and they are finally dying.

it was shipped with 2450mAh and not 2650

im thinking returning it now i read all the other reviews.

While this product is operating properly, it is NOT the product Amazon claimed on its page. These are 2450 MAH batteries, not the 2650 claimed. The ad now says,”2650mAh / 2450 mAh Ideal capacity; ideally suited for powering digital cameras.” Don’t be fooled! These are the lower capacity 2450 mAh batteries. The 8-pack of 2650 mAh sold by vendor M Z Photo contains the 2650 mAh.
