When I got my new Golden Retriever puppy, I decided that I was going to take lots of photos and video clips. (My neice, who is a professional photographer taught me that for every one great photo you need to take at least 100 photos-and she is right.) However I only had one battery. I decided to go on line and buy several batteries so I would always have spares. I am very satisfied with this battery. I have gotten at least 2 hours of battery time per charge out of it which includes at least 30 minutes of video clips and hundreds of photos. Now I have a photo album of really superb photos of my puppy with many just-in-time shots that would not have been possible if I had to wait for a battery to recharge or a bum battery that went dead too quickly.

I highly recommend the vendor and product.

This is our first digital camera so I have nothing to compare it to, but the battery charged beautifully and is working well. My husband plays around with the prints all the time,so it’s nice to have a battery that can take all the use and still be available when it’s time to take more photos.

I didn’t buy a cheaper battery as the camera instructions recommended using only Fujifilm batteries to stay under warranty conditions.

I take a lot of pictures with my Fujifilm FinePix F200EXR and I don’t like grainy pictures that result from the higher ISOs (if I let the camera go there). So most times, I just set it to Auto ISO (400) so it doesn’t go above 400. Even so, in lower light environments etc, that can still result in grainy pictures, so I end up using the flash a lot. With or without the flash, the F200EXR isn’t noted for outstanding battery life – the CIPA measurements indicate the battery life at 230 pictures. So the spare battery is a must-have.

This is my second Fuji camera. On the first one, I tried several different batteries (all less expensive than Fuji’s own) and found that none lasted as long as the Fuji batteries. So when I got this new camera, I decided to save money by sepnding a little more for a Fuji battery. In an F100, I got a half hour of movies and two dozen still shots before the battery went. I’m no engineer, and am very puzzled as to why batteries from other mfgrs., with the same specs, don’t last as long as Fuji. And Amazon’s price was right.

I used this battery while I was traveling in Peru. Climates ranged from sunny and warm (while relaxing on a boat), to cold, windy, and snowy (when hiking in the mountains). In all these environments, I never had any problems with the camera. Also, the battery never died despite taking lots of pictures and viewing them with my friends.
