Bought this battery as a back up for my stock battery. Its not bad for the price. I was able to get about 40 to 45 minutes of continuous recording with the LCD on and constantly zooming in and out ( I was recording a soccer game ) That is not bad at all considering I can get about 50 to 55 minutes from the Panasonic stock battery under the same recording conditions.

I ordered two of these batteries, and they work okay, but there was one thing that mildly surprised me about them.

The stock Panasonic brand battery – rated at 940mAH – that came with my Panasonic SDR-S26 camcorder will operate for 93 minutes.

These batteries are rated at 1000mAH, and they only run the same camcorder for 75 minutes.

This is far from being a deal breaker, as these cost a fraction of the price that is charged for the Panasonic.

I gave $12 for each of these, while the 1000mAH Panasonic battery is $60.

I see that Techfuel offers their own 1000mAH battery for $13, so I may buy one of those in the future to see how it performs next to these and the Panasonic.

In the mean time, these should work just fine, as I just don’t really see myself running the camcorder for much more than an hour at a time.

This is still a pretty decent product, even though it does not really perform as its amp/hour rating would indicate.
