I use this with my Zi8 camera. It works great when I am out filming something for a long time. This battery and the one that comes with the camera lasts about 40 minutes or so. I carry this battery in my pocket and when i am running low on the first one i just switch them. I like that the battery is cheap and i will probably end up getting more as I get more memory for my camera. I highly recommend this item.
The product was a fraction of the cost for a replacement Kodak klic-7001, even with shipping. It worked perfect with my Kodak Playsport. The only problem was with delivery, they used United States Postal Service. My order ran past the anticipated delivery date. Upon contacting Thememstore, they were very helpful and accommodating for what was not even their fault. Thememstore had my order out in 1 day, USPS kept it in one spot for 10 days! I would definitely do business with them for both price point and service/conflict resolution.
I bought this battery 6 mo ago as a backup. From the beginning I noticed that the battery does not last as long as the one that came with the camera. In fact, it does not last long enough to shoot 50 images. I do not recommend this item.
Ordered two of these as spares for my Kodak Zx3 before going on vacation. Battery life for this camera is not great with the included Kodak KLIC-7004 battery to begin with, so I didn’t have huge expectations. I’ve also had mixed experience with “budget” Li-Ion batteries before, which often disappoint (e.g. for iPods or cell phones), but took a chance based on the positive reviews of the Maximalpower batteries. I have so far not noticed any difference between the original Kodak battery and the Maximalpower spares – if anything, they seem to last slightly longer. However, I haven’t measured this in any scientific way, so don’t quote me on it. I have only used them for a couple of recharge cycles, so cannot comment on lifespan, but so far so good. For the price, they are terrific value.
